Looking for a break from the beer halls of Oktoberfest? Step into the elegant and lively world of the Bodos Cafezelt & Cocktail Bar — a unique Oktoberfest tent where champagne flows, cakes delight, and cocktails keep the party going well into the night. Established in 1993 by master confectioner Bodo E. Müller and now run by his partner Otto Lindinger, Bodo’s Cafezelt has earned its place as a beloved fixture at Oktoberfest Munich, offering a refreshing, refined alternative to the typical beer tent experience.
Famous for its kirschwasser donuts, fruit tarts, and apple strudels, Bodos Cafezelt is every dessert lover’s dream. The pastries are handcrafted using traditional recipes and served fresh daily.
Unlike other tents, Bodos Cafezelt Oktoberfest proudly skips the beer. Instead, guests enjoy Prosecco, premium champagne, exotic cocktails, and rich coffee, making it the perfect spot for a stylish midday break or evening toast.
By 6:00 PM, Bodos Cocktail Bar transforms into a lively party venue with music from Austria’s “Highlights” band, turning the sweet café into an energetic cocktail lounge under the tent lights.
From opening at 10:00 AM until around 3:00 PM, the tent maintains a relaxed café atmosphere ideal for families, offering children’s donuts and casual breakfast menus.
