Choosing the Right Kinder-Dirndlbluse Size

German Kindergrößen (children's sizes) are based on body height in centimetres. Size 110 fits a child 110 cm tall, size 128 fits a child 128 cm tall, and so on. Our girls' Trachten blouse and Kinder-Trachtenbluse range covers sizes 80 (10–12 months) through 164 (13–14 years).

Kids' fit rule: If your child falls between two sizes, order the larger size. This is the opposite of women's dirndl blouse sizing. Kinder-Dirndlbluse and Bavarian tops are designed for a full growth season — slightly roomy at first, well-fitted as your child grows. The blouse should sit easily under the Kinderdirndl Mieder without bunching.
