Women's Lederhosen Size Chart — Body Measurements

All measurements are body measurements in centimetres. This chart applies to our women's leather lederhosen and our women's leather skirts. If you are between two sizes, read the leather fit note below before ordering.

Leather fit note: Quality leather softens and molds to your body with wear. If you are between two sizes, order the Larger size for the authentic fitted Trachten silhouette. Day-one feel will be snug — this is correct, and the leather will relax to your shape within a few wears.
One size system across our women's range: If you already know your dirndl size, you know your lederhosen size — German sizing is consistent across both garments.
How to Measure

Wear normal undergarments while measuring. Measure as you will wear the lederhosen, with the body shapewear you typically use. Use a soft tape measure and check that the tape sits level around your body.

  • Waist: Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above the navel. Tape snug but not tight.
  • Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, typically across the hip bones. Tape comfortably snug.
  • Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of your thigh, approximately 8 cm below the crotch. Tape straight, not twisted.
  • Inseam: Measure the inner leg from crotch to desired hem. For knee-length lederhosen, measure to just below the kneecap. For Bundhosen (longer style), measure to mid-calf.
