Named for the Alpine region bordering Austria — home to the Watzmann massif and some of Bavaria's most dramatic high-country landscape — the Berchtesgaden Black Edelweiss Lederhosen carries the floral and wildlife motifs of that terrain in full, realistic color rather than the simpler gold-outline embroidery found elsewhere in our collection.
Crafted from genuine black goat suede, the bib and front legs are hand-embroidered with detailed stag heads, pine branches, and edelweiss blossoms — Bavaria's iconic Alpine flower — worked in green, gold, cream, and brown thread for a richer, more painterly finish. A traditional horn button secures the closure, a small but authentic detail rooted in classic Bavarian craftsmanship. Each leg hem finishes with a black leather lace tie for a fitted, traditional look.
This is a more premium embellishment than a costume-store print, and it shows: every thread is placed by hand, not heat-transferred. Pair it with a traditional shirt and hat for a complete Oktoberfest look, or let the embroidery stand on its own with a simple button-down.
